Trinidad - Hosted by Carol Steele

Trinidad is a city painted by history and lit by the spirit of celebration.

Cobblestone streets. Handwoven lace. Drumbeats that echo through pastel courtyards. This UNESCO World Heritage site is where colonial architecture meets the heartbeat of Afro-Cuban tradition, where each corner tells a story of resilience, elegance, and soul.

We’ll stay in lovingly restored casas particulares and spend our days exploring local artisan markets, museums, and music schools. Nights are filled with salsa, live bands, and community dinners under the stars. We visit painters in their home studios, dance with locals, and learn about cultural projects reviving ancient traditions.

Trinidad holds the memory of Cuba’s past and the light of its future—all in one place. It’s colorful, vibrant, alive. It reminds us why we travel: to witness beauty, to meet people who move us, and to feel joy deep in our bones.

Let’s discover it together.
